"Amati Music Studio is all about sharing the gift of music through Joy, Love, and Kindness. The meaning of Amati in Italian is “to be loved.” The goal of this music program is that each student will enjoy learning music while playing an instrument. So they may grow their potential to empower families and communities with music, love, and kindness. Amati Studio offers 30-minute private music lessons in Spanish or English for different ages starting at 4+ to Adults. Through music, the student will develop a gentle character, self-control, creativity, dedication, short and long-term memory, problem-solving, and confidence, among positive character traits."
The first music lesson is free. In this introductory lesson, we will select the correct size instrument or if he or she needs to purchase one. Then thru a few warm-up exercises, we will explore their rhythmic and musical ability. I like to know the best method to improve their musicality.
Music is another language to explore and enjoy. Each lesson for children comes packed with songs, activities, and, games that will reinforce the student's ability to perform a musical instrument and understand new musical concepts.
Your first introductory lesson is free. You will be required to bring your instrument.
The content of your lesson is a collaboration between the student and the instructor. Some students start from zero and learn the basics. Other students instead start learning their favorite songs. Others want to harmonize and play sing-along songs from their favorite era. Every student is different but I will be there every step of the way to help you and guide you thru your music path.
“A child’s learning of music is a profound, life-changing, and transformative experience.” Jessica Roemisher speaks beautifully about music's magical influence on the lives of children who learn to play piano or a musical instrument.
“When there is a piano in the home and the child has the ability to play on their own, their relationship with the piano begins even before they meet a teacher.” Jessica Roemisher speaks about the best age to learn piano and what to look for in a piano teacher.
